PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

Pretty Little Liars is an American teen drama, mystery–thriller television series loosely based on the popular book series of the same title, written by Sara Shepard. The show premiered on June 8, 2010 on ABC Family. After an initial order of 10 episodes, ABC Family ordered an additional 12 episodes for season one on June 28, 2010. These episodes began airing on January 3, 2011 and ended on March 21, 2011. The ratings success of the first 10 episodes prompted the book series to be extended beyond the initial eight novels.

The series follows the lives of four girls: Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily.

One day In the town of Rosewood her friend Alison Dilaurentis disappears, and one year later the police found Alison dead.

Later at the funeral of Alison they begin receiving various messages from someone using the name "A" who threatens to expose their secrets including ones they thought only Alison knew.

After that day her life changed, and they decide to discover who killed her friend Alison.

ALISON DILAURENTIS:

Alison was the 'It Girl' and Queen Bee of Rosewood's.

She is considered pretty, manipulative, secretive, devilish and vindictive. Despite her sometimes malicious behavior toward others, she can make them feel very special, and is known by her close friends to have a sweet and caring side.

EMILY FIELDS:

Emily Fields is the 'jock' of the group because of her aptitude in swimming, which makes her the star ofRosewood's swim team. She is caring, sweet and loyal.

Also she was the most closest to Alison before her disappearance and was also in love with her.

ARIA MONTGOMERY:

Aria Montgomery is the group's "artsy girl", who returns to Rosewood with her family after spending a year in Iceland.

She meets her future English teacher Ezra Fitz in a bar and they fall in love. They have a prohibited and complicated love history.

HANNA MARIN:

Hanna Marin the "it girl" of the group who struggles with self-image issues and bulimia.

After Hanna transformed herself into the most popular girl in school, along with her best friend, Mona Vanderwaal. She falls in love with Caleb Rivers, a phone hacker and newcomer to Rosewood.

SPENCER HASTINGS:

She is the "the factor head" of the group. Intelligent and extremely ambitious, she is perfectionist in everything she does, meeting the high expectations of her parents.

Spencer fall in love with the boyfriend of her sister, Toby and Caleb.

KIT KAT CAKE

KIT KAT CAKE

August 2 was my birthday, and to celebrate I made a delicious Kit Kat cake, and I would love to share the recipe with you for that you can enjoy it on your birthday or a special day.

INGREDIENTS:

• ¾ cup chocolate
• 1½ cups of flour
• 1½ cups of sugar
• 1½ teaspoons bicarbonate of soda 
• ¾ teaspoon baking powder
• ¾ teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• ¾ cup milk
• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
• ¾ cup warm water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting:

• 125 g butter 
• 2 - 3 tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla
• 1 tablespoon of chocolate

Decorate:

• KitKat's
• M & M's

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Divide batter between pans. Bake for approximately 35 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes then turn onto wire rack to cool completely.


2. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 deg F).
3. Grease and line two 24 cm (8 inch) cake pans.
4. Sift cocoa, flour, sugar, bicarb soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl of an electric mixer.
5. Beat on low speed until just combined. Raise speed to medium and add eggs, milk, water, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth, around 3 minutes.
7. Sandwich the two cake layers together with frosting. Cover top and sides of cake with remaining frosting. Stand Kit Kats around outside of cake. We used three family sized blocks of Kit Kat Chocolate. Cover top of cake with M & M's.
